We had an interesting conversation on Facebook earlier in the week about whether it's better to sponsor a pup at a shelter or pay the adoption fee for a dog. There were some strong sentiments, and it got me thinking and researching. There will be more on this in the future, but if you have an opinion, please share! Emmett’s last day of pet therapy
For three years, in his role as a therapy dog, Emmett visited with a group of kids who were residents at a mental health hospital near town. Once a week, we'd spend an hour with 15 kids aged 8 to 11.
