Last-Minute Gift Ideas for Pet Parents AND Pet Bloggers

12•12•17

Shipping dates for Christmas delivery are passing us by… though my inbox is jammed full of “last-minute gift ideas” for pet parents, all of which can be rush-shipped to be under the tree by the 25th!

I don’t know about you guys, but with all the shopping, shopping, shopping this time of year, I start to feel a little overwhelmed. I’m someone who likes less stuff, not more, and with that in mind, I started to think about the best last-minute gift ideas for pet lovers and pet bloggers that would be useful but not more stuff.

If you have dog or cat mamas or pet bloggers on your list, here are my last-minute, stuff-free gift ideas!

3 Last-Minute Gifts for Dog and Cat Moms

Give the Gift of Amazon Prime: I buy so. much. stuff. for the animals through Amazon. All their Only Natural Pet supplements come from Amazon (tbh, ONP charges a lot for shipping, so… Amazon it is!) There’s also the “subscribe and save” option through Amazon, which allows you to get a deal for repeat deliveries that are Prime eligible. If you’ve ever found yourself almost out of litter or just about out of dog food when you are on deadline–no? just me?–it’s a life-saver. Seriously, a gift of Amazon Prime is the best gift I can think of for any pet parent!! {{Or, for yourself: Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial. You do everything for everyone, you hard-working pet mama, you!}}

Yard Cleanup: On a tight budget? Remember those coupons you used to make for your parents when you were little (Good for one free hug!)? Harness the spirit of the season and offer to spend a weekend cleaning up the yard of your most-loved dog mom. Trust me. She’ll appreciate the heck out of that coupon!

Massage Gift Certificate: Especially if her dog is a puller and/or leash reactive. Her shoulders and upper back will be grateful.

3 Last-Minute Gifts for Pet Bloggers

A year of hosting: Or even a 3- or 6-month package! Blogging isn’t cheap!! The gift of hosting makes a fabulous treat even if it’s from you to you! (Merry Christmas to me!) I use GreenGeeks, which is an environmentally-responsible host. #winwin

Authentic Blogging eBook: **Shameless Self-Promotion Warning** OK. OK. I know. I wrote this. So, ultimately, I benefit from this gift being given, but I promise you: so will the blogger in your life! It’s chock full of tips, tricks, advice, worksheets, and jokes (some of which are even funny!) to help any blogger, no matter the niche, excel. My friend Alison told me I should be charging $10 instead of $7, so I’m going to take her advice and increase the price in 2018. For the rest of December, though, you can get it for $7, and I added two freebie downloads–a mind map and a post outline–in the spirit of giving!

Touch Screen Gloves: Perfect for capturing those Insta Stories while you’re out for your walk! I acknowledge that this one counts as more stuff. But… these would be SO useful! And it gives the recipient the opportunity to donate a pair of gloves (one in, one out) to a local homeless shelter.

There you have it: Six last-minute gifts for the pet mama or pet blogger in your life! Any one of these will certainly make her spirits bright! 🙂

ICYMI: If you want some traditional, present-under-the-tree ideas, check out my small business gift guide from a couple weeks ago!

What’s on YOUR wish list still? If Santa were to pickup a last-minute gift for you–stuff-free or otherwise–what would you hope for?

Merry, merry!
