Friday Fun: You know you’re crazy…

10•25•13

Happy Friday!

This week felt interminable. But it’s finally Friday! I’m looking forward to a weekend of long dog walks, coffee in bed with the boys and a good book, and getting caught up on work and chores (fun stuff).

In the meantime, I thought we should have a little Friday Fun!

Fill in the blank: One sign that I’m a crazy dog lady/man is ____________.

While I have MANY, here’s mine for today.

I just gave myself a pedicure… with this.

I can’t wait to read what makes YOU a crazy dog person! Have a great weekend, everyone!!

I can’t relate to this. I think having four dogs is totally normal.

Before reading this I just posted an observation on Facebook. I’ve been meeting so many of our new neighbors and two instances jump out at me.
    1. I met a guy and his dog the other night…can’t remember the guy’s name, but the dog’s name is Connor.
    2. Met a guy, his toddler son and their dog. After discreetly checking the “underpinnings” I said, “aw, how old is he?” and the father said “twenty months.” I then had to figure out how to gracefully convey i was asking how old the dog was. It never occurred to me to wonder how old the son was other than “toddler.”

I chit chat with a neighbor periodically. She only knows me as the person who walks with Honey. And I only know her as the person who walks with Abby.

That’s so funny! It certainly seems to be an emerging theme!

When I have peanut butter on toast, I never get to have the second piece of toast. But actually, I don’t expect to. That’s Dash and Lilly’s piece of toast. And they know it now too. As soon as the toaster button sounds, they are right there next to me! “A bigger shmear of peanut butter!” they look like they’re saying!

That was a good one…how did it look on you? Whenever I finish a meal there is exactly three pieces of food left on my plate (as long as it’s safe for dogs)!
Also I went shopping today, mostly for the dogs/cats. We really only needed a new Chuck-It, yet we ended up spending almost $100!

I do the exact same thing!! I always set aside 3 bites of whatever I’m having. LOVE it! 🙂

OH! And I forgot to mention… the polish looked totally fine! On the back it says “mommy & me” so I think they expect humans to use it. The one huge bonus, in my mind anyway, is that since it’s designed for dogs it’s SUPER quick drying! Let’s see how long it lasts…

Five cats, two dogs. The cats have their own room AND free run of the house.

When we’re online searching for a new RV park to visit the first thing that enters my head is, “What do they have there that would be good for Vlad & Barkly?” and “Is there anything that would be really bad for them there?”

Then I’ll tell my husband, “Well the boys would like this place. Just look at all the trails there.”

Creamation, in beautiful wooden boxes, gold engraved names on each and discreately displayed on a shelf in a small closet office that houses scanners, computers and copy machine. Loved them so——-but I still have four dogs and four cats.

Um, you’re not supposed to use the dog polish? Well, THAT’S awkward ;0)

I can’t imagine choosing only one thing that makes me a crazy dog lady. It’s more like a multitude of things, coming together to make me look utterly insane.

I think the craziest, so far, has been the dog in the stroller, but the dogs floating on the lake in a blow up dingy is probably pretty crazy too.

I take days off just to spend time with our dogs 🙂

Did the polish really dry in 10 seconds?

That doesn’t sound crazy! That sounds fantastic! 🙂

It wasn’t quite 10 seconds, but it was fast! Way faster than a usual polish. I used to always use OPI, which I feel like smears hours later! With this, I actually put on socks and shoes later in the afternoon, and it was fine! I’m thinking it might not last as long?? We’ll see!
