I love going to conferences!
Because I work from home, I rarely interact with people in person, so I enjoy the opportunity to get out and meet like-minded people while learning more about blogging, social media, and writing. Despite the fact that I’m so totally socially awkward, I adore these pet-related conferences because everyone automatically shares something in common – a love for our pets, of course – so it’s much easier to start up a conversation!
I missed BlogPaws this year because my darling little brother got married that same weekend. I was bummed to miss the conference, especially since so many blogging friends were there.
So, to make up for missing that opportunity, I’m off to BarkWorld! The sessions and roundtables look fantastic. There are a ton of great networking and socializing opportunities. And one of my positive dog training idols, Victoria Stilwell, is going to be there!
I seriously can’t wait!
Although, I’m going to miss these faces…

We’d love to go but unfortunately, work gets in the way. I do plan on taking Lars there next year though!

We liked going to BarkWorld and meeting you Maggie. I think pet conferences are a lot different than other web expos/conferences I have attended. Since everyone loves animals people are open about helping each other.
Well I liked BarkWorld I think I will focus BlogPaws next year. Hope to see you there.
