It’s true. My car stinks. It’s a combination of regular dog dander and fur plus that unique odor that emanates from hot pups after a long walk or day at the park.
I pick dog fur out of my coffee/water/wine and keep on drinking.
When I pick up my boys’ “business,” I always examine it closely, you know, just cause.
On occasion, I decline social engagements because I’d rather spend the evening snuggled on the couch with my dogs than stand awkwardly in the corner at a cocktail party.
My phone’s memory is stuffed full of pics and videos of the dogs… and none of friends and family.
Sometimes when I hear weird noises in the house or something out of the ordinary happens, like the backdoor is inexplicably open a crack, I loudly say to the dogs, “You run in there and bite that murderer!” and send them scurrying in ahead of me.

haha guilty of all the above, well not so much my truck stinking cause I just got a new one, but Titan certainly blessed it with nose art day 1. 🙂 This is awesome!

LOL…I talk to and FOR my dogs all the time. But don’t we all?
Of course! And they each have their own “voice” too!
I tend to wish I could do dog things throughout the day (e.g., nap whenever/wherever I want, get a delicious snack just for sitting down or going to my bed).
I also wish it were acceptable to bark at people when I want them to go away.
From nose smudgies on every window, to dog hair tumble weeds on the floor, to not having enough room to sleep in my bed from sharing it with the dogs, to dirty dog paws all over the wood floors, to piles of poop outside……. I would not change a thing! People who don’t have a dog, do not understand on how these things are special, and not an issue. The car windows are so smudged up in the back, but I smile every time I see them! 🙂
I agree with all of your things, Maggie, as well as all of Valerie’s! You can hardly even see out the lower part of some of our windows and sliding glass doors. I’d clean them more often, but really, what’s the point, when they won’t stay that way long? 🙂
I’m also guilty of all of the above! Especially the going out part- I’d much rather spend the night cuddled up with Del in front of the TV! I’m sure there are many more confessions us dog owners wouldn’t like to admit to… Food for thought!
