Snow day!

12•16•10

Emmett, Lucas, Cooper, and Cady got to play in the newly-fallen snow today. Well, Lucas, Cooper, and Cady played while Emmett… let’s just say that he thinks snow is only good for one thing. Eating!

What do your dogs think of the cold and snow??

Hope you’re staying warm! Thanks, Diane, for taking this video!

Looks like they enjoyed the snow! We live in San Antonio, so the only time Gus gets to play in the snow is during trips back to Iowa…he thinks snow is weird 😉

I’m wondering if Miss M used to live in a basement or garage, because I adopted her at 2 years old and she was so confused by the snow, and it snows a lot in Chicago. We don’t really get a chance to play in it, because we don’t have a yard, but right now it’s more of a hassle for me. For some reason, people think when it snows they don’t have to clean up their dog poo and it will just melt away with the snow. This makes spring kind of gross as layers of snow melt, unearthing the dog poo underneath.

Yay for snow days! Shiva isn’t a digger usually but she loves digging through the snow. It’s kind of funny to watch.

Mickey thinks the snow is okay, but Kayloo loves that it is just one never ending disappearing snowball that she can chomp on 🙂 She walks and licks… hilarious to watch 🙂

I love those kind of forearm thumping play fights. Always makes me laugh, and indeed … your baby boy is very brave to get in on the fun (or at least try to).
